I found a cute yellow pattern for the back that has tiny white flowers on it. I know the picture did not come out that clear.
But what I really wanted to show you was that I matched the binding to the section. So the yellow section got a yellow binding, etc. This really made the quilt in my opinion. While I was making it everyone kept asking who is this quilt for. I decided to keep this one for myself. It contains scraps from all the quilts I have made and I love seeing all the different fabrics pooled together to make one big quilt. I am keeping it in my sewing room where I can see it every time I quilt.
Clever idea! Glad you are going to keep it for yourself...we have to fill up our cups sometime so we will be able to empty them.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea of a scrappy quilt, but coordinated sections by colors. Yours looks great, and the binding is very clever too!
