If you enjoy following my blog please join me at Sewlicious Crafts on Facebook. This is where I will be posting all of my new crafts and items for sale.
I am a full time working mom of twin boys. My passion is my children. My hobby is quilting. This blog is my quilting journal. I love to share my quilts and arts and craft projects with friends and family. After a long hiatus of taking care of twin babies and then running after them as toddlers I finally have the time and energy to quilt again. I love sewing as my sons sit beside me or play near my sewing machine. Who knew boys could be so interested in quilting.
Favorite Books - This is a small list of the many books I have read and enjoyed.
The Passage Series by Justin Cronin
The Order of the Sanguines Series by James Rolling and Rebecca Cantrell. A three book series on a secret church order of vampires.
The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow. A book about a quilt. So sweet.
Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon (Oh Jamie! I'd go through time for you any day!)
All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness Three book series about vampire and witches.
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. I have read a lot of book since my last entry. This is the first one in a while I thought was worth sharring.
This Much I Know is True by Wally Lamb. This book takes a life time out of you, but is well worth it.

Tis' by Frank McCourt. His first book Angela's Ashes was also very well done.
Stones by the River by Ursula Hegi
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb
Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross. Fantastic book about the only female pope (supposedly).
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. Great book that remains one of my true favorites. Her next Prodigal Summer was also very good.
Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. Beware the awful ending.
Fortune's Rock by Anita Shreve
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.
Ahab's Wife by Sena Jeter Naglund. I love a book that take a tiny line or story from something and turns it into a novel. Ahab was the captain in Moby Dick.

The Twlight Series by Stephenie Meyer. Really no explanation need.
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. This is my all time favorite book.
