This is Teddy. He is the newest member of our family. We adopted him from a family that had decided they could not keep him anymore. He is a lab mix and is the sweetest gentlest dog.

Marshmallow Pops
Another great idea I saw on the site of Little Birdie Secrets. Have I said enough how much I love that blog. So these are marshmallows dipped in chocolate and then sprinkled with red sprinkles. I bought lollipops sticks and little bags at Joann's. Added some red ribbon and the boys Valentines cards and these are ready to hand out. So cute. And so easy to make. I took the advice of the girls at Little Birdie Secrets and stuck my pops in play dough to let them dry. Then I put them on wax paper until they were firmly set. They dried very quickly and slid right into the bags. I plan to bring these to a Valentines Party I am attending. I took a box, wrapped it with with white paper, and then stuck holes in the box. The pops will sit in the hole and be ready for people to pick one out and enjoy.
Happy Valentines Day

Updated photo of the pops at the party. They were a big hit.

Cookbook Review
I am a fan of the cookbooks by Jessica Seinfeld. She likes to use pureed veggies in her recipes. She has a new cookbook called Double Delicious. I tried out the chocolate chip recipe. It contains pureed chick peas. They were pretty good although no one else wanted to eat them. I haven't had time to try any of the other recipes in the book but they all look good. And just as in her last cookbook they all contain some type of vegetable puree. I got this copy from my local library. See if you can check it out and try out some recipes before you commit to buying a copy. Some people (like my husband) won't touch any food that contains a vegetable hidden in it. But most kids won't know the difference.
