Laurie's Quilt

I made this quilt for my best friend Laurie. I used Moda charm squares that I bought at Esty. The pattern was my traditional charm square quilt pattern. And I used a loopy stitch to stipple it.
I also got to use my new fence to take a photo. I always wanted to photograph my quilts on a fence.

  1. Hey Alyssa,
This is Darin Strauss, author of Chang & Eng. I was searching for something else when I came across your site. I have twin boys of my own -- now almost 3. (Kind of funny, considering my 1st book. Careful what you write about.)

Anyway, I have a new one coming out and, since you liked one of my other ones (and since we twin parents have to stick together), let me know if you want me to send you a free copy. darinstrauss@hotmail.com.

    All the best

  4. I like the traditional colors mixed with the funky quilting. I am sure the neighbors would like to have the quilt on the other side of the fence!
